Plant handling should only be carried out by highly trained professionals. We are fully accredited and have more than 30 years’ experience in plant handling, of both heavy and fragile items.

We offer turn-key solutions, which includes project management of any plant installation, from a single commercial boiler to the entire contents of a manufacturing facility. All site surveys, necessary risk assessments and job-specific method statements carried out by our fully trained and competent operatives to ensure that the correct personnel are selected and that the plant handling and movement task is executed safely , on time and on budget . Also, all 1st Industrial and Commercial Services operatives are fully trained to the high standards to ensure all tasks are executed as planned.

1st Industrial and Commercial Services can also offload and store all your new or existing plant at our fully insured depot. Delivering when required, to the site using our own transport, with either self-loading Hiab’s, fork trucks or by crane, then move and install through a variety of methods, including mechanical or pneumatic skates, stair climbing machines/robots , machine skoots and bespoke made lifting frames, depending on project requirements.
