Established in 1989 initially offering a waste oil collection service. 1st Industrial evolved and grew with growing demand for fuel tank cleaning, fuel polishing, mechanical strip out, plant movement and positioning. These are now the key areas we specialise in today.
Tank maintenance
Originally established in 1984 Gillingham Oil Services LTD was a company that offered a waste oil collections service, in 1989 the company grew, expanding into the wider fuel services sector offering tank cleaning, removal and some small mechanical removal services.
From then, year on year, it has grown with expertise, and the services it offers building a highly skilled team of engineers, plant and support vehicles. As well as going in the services it offers 1st Industrial is dedicated to the welfare of its team, the environment and the health and safety both on and off site.

Our culture at 1st Industrial and Commercial, which is rooted in our values, is one of the reasons so many of our skilled members of staff have been a part of our team for so long.
We recognise that our team and their skills are our biggest asset. We provide regular training to every member of our team. Colleagues are encouraged to complete specialist training and to request to attend training courses.
Keeping our team safe is our priority. Every member of our team knows the health and safety standards that apply to them and meets them. Every one of our colleagues holds a Construction Skills Certification Scheme (CSCS) card and have completed training with The Construction Plant Competence Scheme (CPCS).
Health and safety
Our clients have complete peace of mind. All our team are trained to the highest levels of health and safety and work to the latest regulations. Every project we undertake is covered by our comprehensive Method Statements and Risk Assessments. All operatives have undergone relevant training to the role they carry out. Our work is always of the highest standard.
