Movement of 1 Plate Heat Exchanger up through a live building onto a top floor plant room

The project involved the challenging movement of a single Plate Heat Exchanger through a live, fully operational building and up to a top-floor plant room. Given the complexity of the task, careful planning and precision execution were paramount to ensure safety and efficiency.

The Plate Heat Exchanger, weighing close to the machine’s operational limit of 650 kg, required meticulous handling. A highly skilled operator, utilising expert techniques and precision control, successfully navigated the equipment through restricted spaces and up to its final location. The operation was carried out with the attention to detail, minimising disruption to the building’s ongoing activities while ensuring a smooth and controlled lift.
